SHARE Regular Package Price Will Increase in August
In August the price of the regular SHARE package will increase $2.00 for a cost of $22 for each regular package.  
The regular SHARE package has remained the same for three years, since July of 2007. As the value of the packages we make available each month continues to increase, our costs to purchase the food is also increasing.  The same increased costs we all are experiencing in the grocery stores, occurs for our program when purchasing food on the open market.We will continue to price special packages separately each month. As you may know, we offer steak, grill, chicken, pasta, hams, Suppertime meals and other special packages at various costs ranging from $6 to $22.  The cost of these packages depends upon the cost to us, and can change depending on the time of year, what is in the package, and the cost of freight to have it delivered to us.  We will continue to do monthly surveys at local grocery stores to insure that the value of the packages that we offer increases the savings on your monthly grocery bills.
