When exposed to high heat, such as hot ember, these rugs produce a char which actually reduces heat transfer and flame spread.  Not only are these rugs flame resistant, they are available in a wide variety of attractive, artistic styles and colors.

The 100% fiberglass face on these rugs is simply not 
damaged by small embers or sparks. The back is heavy
 vinyl that lays flat and is non-staining and fire retardant. 
This rug may be spot cleaned with a sponge and dish soap.
